Caerphilly Castle Football Club is proud to announce its sponsorship of Twyn School for the upcoming Caerphilly 2K, demonstrating the club’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local community.
Established in 1999, Caerphilly Castle FC has been at the heart of the community for over 25 years. As a dedicated girls’ and ladies’ football club, it provides young players with the opportunity to develop their football skills, stay active, and be part of a supportive and inclusive team environment.
The club offers regular training sessions for all players, with each age group training at least once per week. Players in school Year 2 and above also participate in matches, while those in Year 6 and above have the opportunity to train twice weekly in addition to competitive fixtures. This structured pathway supports player development at every stage.
Sponsoring Twyn School in the Caerphilly 2K reflects the club’s ethos of encouraging participation in sport and promoting healthy, active lifestyles among young people. The event is a fantastic celebration of community spirit, and Caerphilly Castle FC is delighted to play a part in supporting local students as they take part.
